Clare Bradford
Biography:
Clare Bradford is Professor of Literary Studies at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. She has published more than fifty essays and book chapters on children´s literature. Her books include Reading
Race: Aboriginality in Australian Children´s Literature (2001), which won both the Children´s Literature Association Book Award and the International Research Society for Children´s Literature Award; Unsettling Narratives: Postcolonial Readings of Children´s Literature (2007); and New World Orders in Contemporary Children´s Literature:
Utopian Transformations (2009)(with Mallan, Stephens and McCallum).
Dr Bradford is the first International Trudeau Fellow and during 2010 is working at the University of Winnipeg.
