The Banff Centre

The Sixth International Conference on the Mental Lexicon will be held at The Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta, Canada from October 7-10, 2008. The Banff Centre is a globally respected arts, cultural, and educational institution and conference facility.

Along with the conference facility itself, The Banff Centre also has over 400 guest bedrooms on site. The Professional Development Centre (PDC), a spectacular pine lodge, offers over 171 superior bedrooms and suites with full hotel amenities and stone fireplaces. Lloyd Hall offers over 150 standard bedrooms and suites, all of which have been fully renovated. Both the PDC and Lloyd Hall boast expansive windows that allow guests to experience and enjoy the full beauty of The Banff Centre’s natural setting.

The Organizing Committee of the conference has reserved 120 rooms at The Banff Centre at special conference rates of our delegates, which include the cost of breakfast, lunch, opening reception and nutrition breaks.
