Takushi Otani is an Associate Professor at Kibi International University. M.A.(Chiba University); B.A.(Chiba University). Areas of specialization: information ethics (privacy, anonymity, intellectual property, information security, communication ethics, education of information ethics), engineering ethics, history of ICT. Association membership: An expert member of SIG on Social Implication of Technology and Information Ethics, IEICE, Japan; the treasurer of the Japan chapter of the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology. He published several books on information ethics and digital media in Japanese.
