Keiko Suzuki is the Deputy-director, Art Research Center, Ritsumeikan University. Keiko is also a Professor with the Kinugasa Research Organization, Ritsumeikan University; and Research Manager, Digital Humanities Center for Japanese Arts and Cultures, also at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. She has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where her dissertation was: “The Tale of Tojin: Visualizing Others in Japanese Popular Art from Edo to Early Meiji.” A very recent publication by Dr. Suzuki and the Ritsumeikan research team: Urban Images of Kyoto: Kyoto Culture and its Cultural Resources.
