Registration fees are as follows:
Early Rates (On or Before Sunday, June 29, 2014)
Graduate Student: Registration $100.00 + Meal Plan $225.00 = $325.00
Regular Delegate: Registration $175.00 + Meal Plan $225.00 = $400.00
Regular Rates (After Sunday, June 29, 2014)
Graduate Student: Registration $200.00 + Meal Plan $225.00 = $425.00
Regular Delegate: Registration $275.00 + Meal Plan $225.00 = $500.00
Important Notes:
The Banff Centre requires all delegates to pay for the meal plan at the same time as registration. The meal plan includes three breakfasts (Fri, Sat, Sun), two lunches (Fri, Sat), and nutrition breaks throughout the conference. The food is excellent and abundant.
On behalf of graduate students, we are working to secure additional funding that will be used to offset, as generously as possible, graduate student meal plan and travel expenses, and hope to provide an update on this sometime in July.
Banff Centre room reservations received after Tuesday, July 29, 2014 will be on a space available basis only. Because the Banff Centre will be busy, you are strongly encouraged to register and book your rooms in advance of that date if you intend to stay on site.
For cancellation requests received by The Banff Centre on or before Tuesday, July 29, 2014 the registration fee will be refunded less an administration charge of $100. There will be no refund of any portion of the registration fee for cancellation after July 29, 2014. Please note: late cancellations after this date will result in the conference organizers incurring the cost of the unfilled room booking.
The conference will begin at noon on Thursday, September 18 and conclude at noon on Sunday, September 21st. Delegates travelling from a distance are encouraged to arrive on Wednesday, September 17.
Participants are asked to ensure their membership in the Canadian Association for American Studies is current at the time of the conference. Membership comes with a full subscription to the Canadian Review of American Studies.
