Ben Shepard is a Ph.D. student in Anthropology at UCLA. His research interests include social organization and social change in middle-range societies, the political economy of burial ritual, long-distance exchange networks, and the prehistory of Eurasia (focusing on Lake Baikal) as well as California and the Northwest Coast of North America. He has been a participant in the BHAP since 2007. |
