The Baikal-Hokkaido Archeology Project (BHAP) is an international and multi-disciplinary team of scholars investigating Middle Holocene hunter-gatherer culture dynamics in two regions of the world: the Lake Baikal region of Siberia, Russia and Hokkaido, Japan. The aim of this web site is to provide information about the activities of the Project and of the different aspects of the research we are conducting. Please look around, and feel free to contact us with questions, comments, or suggestions.
