Kate Faccia is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Baikal-Hokkaido Archaeology Project. Her interests are in determining activity using cross-sectional geometry and geometric morphometrics. Her current project is centered on a large, complex foraging population in Latvia. She will be analysing subadult activity patterns in order to determine their contributions to the social group, as well as the change in behavioural characteristics of the group from the Mesolithic through the Forest Neolithic. These results of this study will provide comparative material to the Baikal-Hokkaido collections.
