Mayke Wagner is the Head of the Beijing Branch of the Eurasia Department of the German Archaeological Institute. Her research interests include early settlement of the Qaidam Basin, Proto-Scythian burial site in the Kunlun Mountains Liushui, early metallurgy in Xinjiang, and traditional construction of the Salar Cultural Preservation in Delingha. For the project, she is working on organizing project workshops including those taking place in Berlin in November 2011. |
