Congratulations to Dr. Nour Moussa for successfully defending her Ph.D. dissertation in June 2015! Nour Moussa is a PhD student of Dr. Fiona Bamforth. Her research contributes to human genetics of the population and aims to determine the biological relationship between the LN group (Kitoi) and the LN-EBA group (Serovo-Glazkovo) through examining the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and Y-chromosomal DNA polymorphisms, from different cemeteries, to represent maternal and paternal lineages, respectively |
