Peter Jordan is the Director of the Arctic Centre, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. His research interests include Early Postglacial to present day Northern Eurasia, North Pacific, and the circumpolar culture area with a focus on hunter-gatherer material culture studies. For the Baikal-Hokkaido Archaeology Project, he will be focusing on archaeometric pottery studies, pottery sequences in the broader context of Northeast Asia focusing on manufacturing, usage, and sharing, culture change and transmission, and synthesis of hunter-gatherer prehistory in Holocene Northeast Asia. |
