Panel description
Q: What happens when you build a community of students across universities, disciplines and geographic areas?

A: The future of education is changed forever! Join us for the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the HASTAC Scholars program. Learn how the program has inspired innovative projects and movements, and most importantly, how it has become an essential community for emerging interdisciplinary scholars. This panel will feature several HASTAC Scholars who will discuss how the community has been transformative in their own work, and some of the major projects we’ve organized as a group. Finally, we will offer some takeaway lessons on how to build an academic community in the digital age.
