Archaeological Field School (Grant MacEwan University) receives CAGFIL student funding

Dr. Hugh McKenzie (Grant MacEwan University) was awarded a Campus Alberta Grant for International Learning (CAGFIL), to support Alberta students who enrol in our Archaeological Field School to be held on Rebun Island Japan in summer 2013.  The CAGFIL program received 55 applications from 17 institutions and was able to fund 26 opportunities.

This grant will provide $750 to eligible students to support the costs of international travel.

 Eligibility:

To receive CAGFIL funding, students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have been registered for a full-time equivalent of at least two semesters in a degree/diploma program at one of the eligible Alberta Post Secondary Institutions. Students must also be residents of Alberta (defined as a student who is born in Alberta; OR a student who has graduated from a high school in Alberta; OR a student who has lived in Alberta for 12 consecutive months without being a student, e.g., working).
