Dr. Andrea Waters-Rist, BHAP scholar, develops MOOC course "Osteology: The Truth in our Bones" October 4, 2016 Dr. Andrea Waters-Rist, BHAP scholar, develops MOOC course "Osteology: The Truth in our Bones"! A message from Dr. Andrea Waters-Rist about her unique news: Over the past year I put together a MOOC - a Massive Open Online Course - it's free, open to anyone regardless of experience or level of education, and has just launched. There will be additional launches at least for the next year (possibly every month - the exact frequency is being figured out now). The MOOC course is called "Osteoarchaeology: The Truth in Our Bones". It's composed of five-modules that users can watch and complete at the speed of their choosing, which cover demographic reconstruction (age, sex, stature), paleopathology, paleodiet (this incudes some BAP research), activity reconstruction (this too includes some BAP research), and mobility and migration reconstruction.
