LAMPEA and BHAP Microsampling Workshops held at Aix-Marseille Université, France, February 25-26, 2016 February 25, 2016 LAMPEA and BHAP Microsampling Workshops held at Aix-Marseille Université, France, February 25-26, 2016 The Laboratoire Méditerranéen de Préhistoire Europe Afrique (LAMPEA) along with BHAP, sponsored a 2-day micro-sampling workshop entitled "Advances in micro-sampling techniques of human archaeological skeletal remains". The Workshops were held at LAMPEA, Aix-Marseille Université in beautiful Aix-en-Provence, France on February 25-26, 2016. Advances in micro-sampling techniques of human archaeological skeletal remains Goals: Micro-sampling of human archaeological bones and teeth for geochemical characterization is arguably one of the most exciting and promising developments in the field of bioarchaeology since the introduction of the first geochemical testing on human bone in the 1970s. The goals of the workshop are the following: 1. To exchange experience on the techniques of laboratory processing; 2. To share information on recent work; and 3. LAMPEA and BHAP Microsampling Workshops held at Aix-Marseille Université, France, February 25-26, 2016

The Laboratoire Méditerranéen de Préhistoire Europe Afrique (LAMPEA) along with BHAP, sponsored a 2-day micro-sampling workshop entitled "Advances in micro-sampling techniques of human archaeological skeletal remains".

The Workshops were held at LAMPEA, Aix-Marseille Université in beautiful Aix-en-Provence, France on February 25-26, 2016.

Advances in micro-sampling techniques of human archaeological skeletal remains

Goals: Micro-sampling of human archaeological bones and teeth for geochemical characterization is arguably one of the most exciting and promising developments in the field of bioarchaeology since the introduction of the first geochemical testing on human bone in the 1970s. The goals of the workshop are the following:
1. To exchange experience on the techniques of laboratory processing;
2. To share information on recent work; and
3. To assess the potential range of future archaeological applications;
