Clearwater Media wins Gemini Awards for Code Breakers documentary

From the September 1, 2011 Edmonton Journal: "The Code Breakers, written, produced and directed by local filmmaker Tom Radford and Arctic scientist Niobe Thompson, is a one-hour documentary examining how humans originally ended up deep into North and South America more than 11,000 years ago.

The film, which aired on The Nature of Things in January, won both Best Science and Nature Documentary and Best Cinematography.

Two of the anthropological scientists featured come through the University of Alberta - Ruth Ryan (sic) and Andrzej Weber."

BAP team members and their research around Lake Baikal, Siberia were featured in a segment of the documentary.
