BHAP welcomes Ms. Liz Lawton-Mathews, our new PhD student at the University of Groningen

New BHAP PhD!
We welcome to the team Ms. Liz Lawton-Mathews! Liz Lawton-Mathews has just started her PhD at the Arctic Centre, University of Groningen, and will be supervised by Peter Jordan and Andrzej Weber. She is supported jointly by BHAP and by an international studentship from the Ubbo Emmius Fund at the University of Groningen. She has a background in Mesolithic archaeology in Britain and Ireland, and for her PhD, she will be researching long-term hunter-gatherer transformations in Northeast Asia, and focusing on the themes of complexity, diversity and regional interactions.
