Dr. Angela Lieverse and Dr. Tatiana Nomokonova travel to New York University for cementochronology (cementum annulation analysis) training on ancient human and animal teeth

May 6, 2016

Dr. Angela Lieverse and Dr. Tatiana Nomokonova travelled to New York University May 1-7 to get training in cementochronology (cementum annulation analysis) on ancient human and animal teeth.

They have been working with Dr. Stephan Naji and Dr. William Rendu, visiting scholars of anthropology at New York University and researchers for France's Center for International Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences (CIRHUS).

It was a great experience and they would like to thank Drs. Naji and Rendu for their collaboration, scientific expertise, and remarkable hospitality.

Here is a photo of Tanya and Angela at NYU with Stephan Naji (second from left) and William Rendu (left), learning cementum adulation analysis.
