Title of Ben's dissertation: "Human Mobility and Community Organization among Early Bronze Age Hunter-Gatherers of the Lake Baikal Region, Siberia". Dr. Shepard received his PhD from the University of California Los Angeles, Department of Anthropology. His committee members were Jeanne E.
