Congratulations to Dr. Kate Faccia on receiving a SSHRC Posdoctoral Fellowship March 29, 2012 Congratulations to Dr. Kate Faccia on receiving a SSHRC Posdoctoral Fellowship! Kate will be working with BHAP team member Dr. Jay Stock at the University of Cambridge. She hopes to be looking at activity in northern foragers and early agriculturalists using cross-sectional geometry and geometric morphometrics (3D laser scanning). She wants to include the analysis of children, and how they actively participated in facilitating the transition, and hopes to merge both osteological and mortuary data to better understand the changing role and status of subadults with subsistence change.
