Congratulations to Ben Osipov, our BHAP PhD student, who was recently awarded a Circumpolar/Boreal Alberta Research (CBAR) Grant!
Ben's grant is worth $2,500.00 CAD and is managed by the Canadian Circumpolar Institute (CCI) as part of its mandate to foster northern research at the University of Alberta. The Program's aim is to promote interest in northern studies, and provide opportunities for advanced undergraduate and graduate students to obtain experience and professional training in the North. Purpose: To provide seed money to initiate field research in or about the circumpolar north.
