BHAP welcomes Mareike Schmidt to the project! November 1, 2013 The Baikal-Hokkaido Archaeology Project would like to welcome new Ph.D. student Mareike Schmidt to the project! Mareike began a Ph.D. program with Dr. Pavel Tarasov at the Institute of Geological Science, Palaeontology, Freie Universität, Berlin on November 1st. She will be doing research related to the late Quaternary palaeoenvironmental record from Lake Kushu, Rebun Island, northern Japan, using diatom analysis. The Baikal-Hokkaido Archaeology Project would like to welcome new Ph.D. student Mareike Schmidt to the project!

Mareike began a Ph.D. program with Dr. Pavel Tarasov at the Institute of Geological Science, Palaeontology, Freie Universität, Berlin on November 1st.
