Here is the latest good news from the Freie Universitaet Berlin for February 2018.
Richard Henneberg - student on my team at the FU Berlin successfully defended his Master's Thesis, which is a contribution to the BHAP activities.
The Master Thesis, entitled "The 8.2 kyr BP event in the West Pacific and its impacts on vegetation and climate reconstructed from the fossil pollen record from Lake Kushu, Rebun Island (Japan)", was defended on Friday, 16 February, with the final Note 2 ("Good").
Results of Richard's work provide a valuable contribution to the current BHAP project and will be used in an upcoming publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
