Anthropology Field School on Rebun Island, Japan: memories from summer 2014 June 1, 2015 Our upcoming summer 2015 Anthropology Field School on Rebun Island is fast approaching! This is the perfect opportunity to look back to last summer and get a bit of insight into our field school participants' experiences while in the field. One of our students, Richard Wood, wrote an article for the University of Alberta Department of Anthropology website about how he went on a side-trip to nearby Rishiri Island to research his family's unique history.
